The Department of Pathobiological Sciences, School of Veterinary Medicine, University of Wisconsin-Madison seeks applicants for a 1 year renewable position in anatomic pathology effective July 1, 2012. The successful applicant will participate in the necropsy and biopsy service that the Department of Pathobiological Sciences offers for the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital, give lectures and/or laboratory presentations in the pathology instructional program for professional students in the School of Veterinary Medicine, train fourth year veterinary medical students in necropsy rotation and perform collaborative research projects with the School of Veterinary Medicine faculty. The Department and School offer an excellent collegial environment and exceptional resources in infectious disease pathobiology, oncology, food animal production medicine, and other disciplines. Additional diagnostic opportunities and materials from laboratory animals, zoo and wild animal species are available. Applicants must possess the DVM/VMD or equivalent degree and must be licensed or eligible to be licensed to practice Veterinary Medicine in the State of Wisconsin and ACVP Board Eligible or Certified.
